Hannah Whitehead

Hannah Whitehead is a junior at The Canandaigua Academy. She has been a member of the Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra for three years and has performed with them in Germany and the Czech Republic. She enjoys playing cello in The Academy Chamber Orchestra and The Virtuosi Scholarship Chamber Orchestra at Hochstein.  Hannah also studies conducting with Nancy Strelau at Hochstein.  She has recently arranged some music for Amanticello.  Hannah started her playing strings at eight years of age on the viola.  She then switched to cello six years ago and currently studies with Ingrid Bock.  Hannah plans to continue her study of music as she works toward a career in the medical field.
